INJECTION SERVICE

We know that many patients are having difficulty getting their regular prescribed injections administered at this time. Here at Cobh Pharmacy, our pharmacists can now administer a variety of prescription medications including Vitamin B12 & Iron injections. All injections are administered by trained pharmacists in our consultation rooms.

How does the Injection Service work ?
In order to avail of the service patients need to:

• Be over 18 years of age
• Have a valid prescription for the medication being administered

Not all medication is suitable for administration as part of this service. Please ask to speak to the Pharmacist to discuss suitability with you.

There is a small charge for this service, which your pharmacist will discuss prior to administration of any medicines.

It is important that you continue to visit your doctor for any monitoring or scheduled reviews of your medication.
